In September last year, the world's first megawatt-class commercial floating wind power system S1500 successfully completed its test flight at the Naomao Lake base in Hami, Xinjiang. This month, the world's first megawatt-class floating wind power system S2000 for urban scenarios achieved a successful test flight in Yibin, Sichuan, marking a new stage in the commercial application of high-altitude wind energy. The floating wind power generation system utilizes helium-filled aerostats to carry lightweight power generation systems aloft to capture wind energy, and then transmits the electrical energy to the ground through tethered cables.
