On January 9th, Beijing time, a report from research firm Omdia revealed that the global shipment volume of humanoid robots is projected to hit around 13,000 units in 2025. This represents a remarkable surge of over five times compared to the previous year, as the market steps into a high-speed growth phase.
Chinese manufacturers are set to take the lion's share of these shipments. Zhiyuan Robotics leads the pack globally, with an expected 5,168 units, capturing a 39% market share. It is closely trailed by Unitree Technology and UBTECH. In stark contrast, American companies like Tesla and Figure AI are lagging well behind China's frontrunning manufacturers.
Omdia predicts that by 2035, the global shipment volume of humanoid robots could soar to 2.6 million units.
