On January 7, the Information Office of the Shandong Provincial Government conducted a regular policy briefing. During this event, representatives from departments such as the Provincial Department of Transport provided insights into the 'Three-Year Action Plan for High-Quality Development of Shandong Province's Aviation Maintenance Industry'. Feng Lishu, a second-tier inspector at the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, highlighted that Shandong is set to bolster open collaboration, elevate industrial standards and efficiency, and foster a mutually beneficial environment. The province will intensify inter-provincial partnerships with areas including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Yellow River Basin. It will actively integrate into the supply chains of commercial aircraft manufacturers like COMAC, leveraging the expertise of top-tier suppliers for domestic large aircraft, such as Shandong Taikoo and Nanshan Aluminum. This will facilitate COMAC's research visits to businesses within Shandong and support their inclusion in the potential supplier network. Additionally, Shandong will pursue an internationalization strategy, inviting foreign and private investors to participate in the aviation maintenance sector. The province will proactively seek opportunities in markets across Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States, aiming to strengthen its global resource connectivity.
