On December 12, Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun chaired a Party group meeting to convey and study the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and to deploy its implementation. The meeting proposed four key tasks: first, to systematically plan scientific and technological innovation for the '15th Five-Year Plan' period and advance major national science and technology projects; second, to build international scientific and technological innovation centers at a high level and deepen regional cooperation; third, to promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation and strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in innovation; fourth, to drive the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent, and innovate talent cultivation models.
