To put things into perspective, a voltage of 10 kilovolts is an astounding 45 times greater than that of the standard residential electricity supply (220 volts), representing the pinnacle of voltage levels currently utilized in marine power systems. This groundbreaking achievement bridges the technological void in the realm of marine medium-voltage DC circuit breakers, signifying a pivotal technological leap by China in the domain of marine power equipment. Consequently, China now stands at the vanguard of global innovation in this field. This state-of-the-art equipment was independently conceptualized and developed by the 704th Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation.
