On December 13, 2025, at precisely 9:08 AM Beijing Time, the Diera-5 • China Sci-Tech City (B300-L02) space test vehicle, an independently developed marvel by ZW Microsat, soared into the skies. It was propelled into space by the Kuaizhou-11 carrier rocket, taking off from the renowned Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and smoothly sailing into its pre-determined orbit.
The triumphant completion of this launch mission heralds a new chapter for China's private space sector. It paves the way for subsequent endeavors in space scientific research, technology verification, application development, and cargo transportation, setting a solid foundation for future explorations.
Diera-5 boasts an impressive cargo capacity exceeding 300 kg and a spacious cargo hold of 1.8 m³. It is outfitted with an intelligent cargo compartment management system, capable of handling the on-orbit management of 100 payloads. This system ensures that the diverse needs of different payloads, such as power supply, communication, and temperature control, are met with precision.
Furthermore, Diera-5 carries 34 state-of-the-art scientific experimental payloads on board. These payloads are set to embark on a year-long journey of scientific research and technology verification, pushing the boundaries of space exploration and innovation.
