On December 5, an analysis by the China International Capital Corporation (CICC) highlighted that the swift advancement of the global commercial space sector is fueling a surge in demand for rocket launches, with expectations that domestic reusable rocket technology will progressively reach maturity. On one front, the establishment of commercial remote sensing and communication satellite constellations is significantly driving up the need for rocket launches. Globally, the number of space launches has soared from 112 in 2020 to a projected 263 in 2024, with commercial rockets emerging as the primary vehicles for these missions. On another front, since 2014, China has witnessed a rapid rise in commercial rocket enterprises. Multiple rocket models have not only been successfully launched but have also consistently carried out commercial missions. Notably, reusable rockets like the Zhuque-3 and Tianlong-3 are slated for a series of intensive maiden flights between 2025 and 2026. These developments are anticipated to serve as a crucial augmentation to China's domestic rocket launch capabilities.
