Recently, TCL Solar entered into a memorandum of cooperation with I-Solar Energy, a prominent South Korean industrial and commercial EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) enterprise. The partnership aims to jointly delve into and tap the potential of South Korea’s industrial and commercial photovoltaic market. On November 26, a delegation from I-Solar Energy paid a visit to TCL Solar’s factory in Tianjin, China, where a signing ceremony was held to formalize the collaboration.
As per the agreement, TCL Solar is set to become the preferred module supplier for I-Solar Energy’s industrial and commercial photovoltaic projects in South Korea. The collaboration will place a special emphasis on promoting lightweight modules, which are designed to overcome weight-bearing constraints and installation hurdles commonly encountered in such projects.
This strategic cooperation represents a significant milestone in TCL Solar’s global expansion strategy. Moving forward, both parties are poised to deepen their collaboration across various fronts, including technology research and development, project design, and market expansion. This synergy is expected to fuel the high-quality development of the photovoltaic market in South Korea, fostering innovation and sustainability in the sector.
