The 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference took place in Nanjing, during which the inaugural list of national “pilot-level smart factories” under cultivation was unveiled. Hikvision's 'Mass Personalized Customization Smart Factory for IoT Sensing Products' secured a spot on this list. Alongside, the first batch of 15 chosen enterprises collectively issued a joint initiative.

The initiative to cultivate pilot-level smart factories was initiated for the first time in 2025, with the collaborative efforts of six departments. Hikvision operates in a highly fragmented market, where production is marked by 'multi-variety, small-batch, and large-scale customization' features. Confronted with these challenges, Hikvision has constructed a comprehensive smart factory technology framework and set up a fully automated, unmanned production line for smart cameras. This move has led to a substantial boost in production efficiency.

This selection not only serves as a testament to Hikvision's own prowess but also underscores its demonstrative and leading role, paving a distinct development path. The company has shared pertinent experiences with enterprises both upstream and downstream in the industrial chain. Hikvision has expressed its intention to leverage this construction as a fresh starting point, aiming to advance the application of cutting-edge technologies and delve into novel forms of future manufacturing.
