Despite the recent, continuous downturn in the A-share energy storage sector index, industry stakeholders maintain a positive outlook on the sector's better-than-anticipated growth trajectory. Industry players and experts have highlighted that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, China is poised to ramp up its new energy installations and expedite the development of a modernized power system. This shift will see energy storage demand pivot more towards the grid side, with project scales expected to expand significantly. Furthermore, the rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence Data Centers (AIDC) and the progression of standalone renewable energy projects aimed at producing green hydrogen and ammonia are set to broaden energy storage applications and boost demand, both domestically and on the global stage.
