On November 10, Ai Xuefeng, the Director of the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, announced at a routine policy briefing hosted by the State Council Information Office that they would intensify efforts to nurture and broaden application scenarios. This move aims to expedite the large-scale growth of emerging industries, with a particular emphasis on three core areas: scenario enhancement, the execution of major scenarios, and the provision of specialized services.

Specifically, regarding the execution of major scenarios, the commission is set to capitalize on its pivotal role in driving the development of new, high-quality productive forces. It will do so by expanding significant application scenarios in domains such as full-space unmanned systems, deep-sea resource exploration and development, and intelligent manufacturing. Additionally, the commission will proactively pursue inclusion in the major scenarios unveiled by the central government.
