Douyin E-commerce has unveiled the latest iteration of its platform regulations, which were announced from September 4th to 10th and officially implemented on September 11th. The cornerstone alteration in these new guidelines is that, with the exception of specific product categories, merchants now need only maintain stable operations for 60 days to gain access to the Flash Purchase feature. This revised policy extends to eligible domestic non-instant retail merchants and global shopping entities. Compared to previous standards, these access requirements have been notably relaxed, paving the way for a greater number of small and medium-sized businesses to leverage the Flash Purchase functionality. Amidst the current fiercely competitive landscape of the e-commerce market, this strategic move is poised to amplify the 'instant gratification' aspect of Douyin E-commerce live streaming, thereby bolstering its competitive edge.
