Recently, venomous Redback spiders have been detected in several locations across Japan, including an incident where a 4-year-old boy was bitten in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This week, a staggering 12 specimens were discovered in a tennis court in Hiroshima City, and just last week, 24 more were spotted in the parking lot of a kindergarten in the same city. Experts emphasize that the Redback spider is an invasive species originating from Australia, and with the persistent scorching heat, their potential habitat is expected to continue expanding.
