On August 28, the joint commissioning and testing of the Xinying South-Zhanjiang North segment of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway officially got underway, marking the departure of the inaugural inspection train from Xinying South Station en route to Zhanjiang North Station. Concurrently, the track laying for the Guangzhou-Xinying South segment of the same railway has been fully accomplished and is currently in the static acceptance phase. Subsequent phases of joint commissioning and testing will also follow suit.
