In the wake of Typhoon No. 13 "Kalmaegi," Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan provinces are anticipated to encounter severe rainfall, with certain rivers potentially surpassing flood warning levels. In response, the Ministry of Water Resources has initiated a Level-IV Emergency Response and deployed operational teams to bolster flood defense efforts. Concurrently, it has urged all regions to intensify monitoring, early warning systems, and flood control coordination to safeguard the lives and properties of the people. Furthermore, Liaoning, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan provinces continue to maintain a Level-IV Emergency Response status.
