In Qingdao, Shandong Province, the world's pioneering 'super zero-carbon building' has been officially inaugurated. This 117-meter-tall edifice boasts 23 floors of office space, powered solely by green energy, marking a 100% green energy supply achievement. The structure integrates photovoltaic power generation, echelon energy storage batteries, and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology for new energy vehicles, crafting an efficient and adaptable green energy system. Its innovative photovoltaic glass curtain wall slashes carbon emissions by approximately 500 tons annually, while the energy storage system at its base comprises 14 repurposed power batteries, optimizing electrical load management. Furthermore, the building is equipped with a V2G system that deploys charging and discharging robots to allocate power from new energy vehicles, ensuring a reliable power supply. This system includes millisecond-level battery status detection and robust safety mechanisms. Currently, around 300 new energy vehicles contribute power daily, fulfilling nearly half of the building's electricity needs, with employees receiving 1.2 yuan per kilowatt-hour. In emergency scenarios, the building can solely rely on V2G power to maintain operations, underscoring the stability and sustainability of its power supply system.
