TikTok Shop has officially unveiled the enrollment pathway for its cross-border self-operated mode (POP) in Mexico, welcoming cross-border sellers from China. This initiative extends an invitation to sellers holding business licenses from mainland China or Hong Kong, China. While the platform maintains relatively relaxed requirements for seller qualifications, it necessitates local warehousing and shipping capabilities. To entice sellers, TikTok Shop has introduced a suite of preferential policies, encompassing a 90-day commission-free period, traffic support, and multi-store management. Currently, the available categories encompass fashion, home goods, digital appliances, auto and motorcycle accessories, as well as fast-moving consumer goods. However, beauty and personal care, food and beverage, and health products are not yet included. Prior to this launch, TikTok Shop Mexico had already achieved notable success through its full-service operations and Hot Sale promotional activities.
