Earlier this week, Microsoft unveiled two fresh iterations of Windows 11, introducing an enhanced Screenshot Tool equipped with a novel windowed mode screen recording capability. This new feature empowers users to capture only the interface of a specific application, bypassing the necessity to record the entire screen, thereby enhancing recording versatility. Users can now select their desired recording area via the settings, initiate and terminate recordings effortlessly, with the recorded videos seamlessly saved to the default folder.
