As of August 15, the newly enacted 3C certification regulations for lithium batteries in portable power banks have officially taken effect, mandating that any power banks, lithium-ion batteries, and associated products lacking 3C certification can no longer be manufactured, imported, or distributed. On the initial day of enforcement, nearly all power bank products available in the market prominently displayed the "3C Certification" mark, with sales of compliant models surging. Conversely, products devoid of 3C certification marks became scarce. Both online e-commerce platforms and brick-and-mortar markets rigorously implemented the new regulations, ensuring that all circulating products adhere to the certification standards.
