Xiaomi App Store has launched the 'App Hunter' recruitment initiative, encouraging users to become part of the 'Ad Sniper' team to collaboratively identify and address instances of advertising violations. Participants are tasked with conducting screen recording tests on designated applications to spot issues like intrusive pop-up ads. Upon successfully completing these tasks, users will be awarded the 'App Ecosystem Guardian' certification. Xiaomi emphasizes that all apps included in the testing phase have undergone extensive security checks to guarantee the absence of any security risks. The testing procedure is straightforward, with each task encompassing approximately 10 apps and taking merely 2 to 3 minutes per test.
