The Yongchuan shale gas field, discovered within its 'Deep Earth Engineering · Sichuan-Chongqing Natural Gas Base', boasts newly approved geological reserves of 124.588 billion cubic meters by the Ministry of Natural Resources. This milestone signifies the addition of another substantial deep shale gas field in China, with proven reserves exceeding the significant threshold of 100 billion cubic meters. Situated in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, the gas field features a primary body buried at depths exceeding 3,500 meters and a total proven geological reserve of 148.041 billion cubic meters. This discovery holds immense importance for bolstering national energy security.
