Intel has announced the discontinuation of updates and support for its high-performance Linux distribution, Clear Linux. In a related development, Kevin Chevreuil, the creator of Kaisen Linux, another Linux distribution tailored specifically for IT professionals, has also revealed that support for the distribution will soon come to an end. Renowned for its comprehensive suite of system and network diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tools, Kaisen Linux has been a favored choice for emergency maintenance, temporary troubleshooting, and various other scenarios. However, with Chevreuil's decision to terminate the project, Kaisen Linux version 3.0 will mark the final release, although users can expect security updates to continue for an additional two years.
