The Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration has initiated the "Computing Power Pujiang" 2025 Special Action Plan, designed to foster the high-quality development of computing power infrastructure. The initiative targets the expedited construction of computing power centers, adhering to approved energy consumption standards, with an ambitious goal of establishing at least 5 large-scale computing power centers by the end of 2025. Furthermore, the plan envisages the intelligent computing capacity of the city's computing power centers to surpass 100 EFLOPS (FP16). Concurrently, the strategy includes the establishment of at least 5 edge intelligent computing nodes in industrial parks, scientific research institutions, universities, and other strategic locations.
