Shanghai has embarked on the 'Pujiang Computing Power' special action plan, focused on fostering high-quality development in computing infrastructure. The plan envisions refining the distribution of computing power hubs and expediting the development of those already granted energy consumption allocations. By 2025, the objective is to establish at least five large-scale computing power centers, elevating the city's smart computing capacity to exceed 100 EFLOPS and fostering the establishment of edge smart computing nodes. Newly constructed computing power centers will be harmoniously integrated with power planning to guarantee seamless power access, ensuring synchronization in planning, initiation, and completion. Furthermore, Shanghai aims to increase the share of advanced storage capacity to over 30% and explore the 'storage-computing separation' model to efficiently interlink storage and computing resources.
