Qingdao is inviting public feedback on the "Regulations on the Promotion of Marine Economy (Draft)", aiming to foster collaboration across various departments to drive innovation in intelligent supercomputing and big data, with the ultimate goal of establishing a preeminent marine AI industry cluster. The draft regulations underscore the importance of opening up smart application scenarios across marine fisheries, cultural tourism, port shipping, and other domains to accelerate the industrialization of smart marine industries and the digital transformation of traditional marine sectors. Additionally, the draft supports the research and development of core technologies, including underwater communication and navigation systems, multifunctional cross-domain gateways, as well as the advancement of marine electronic information equipment such as deep-sea remotely operated vehicles, underwater gliders, and autonomous underwater vehicles. These initiatives are aimed at elevating the level of informatization and fostering a robust marine electronic information industry chain.
