The Jiangsu Provincial Data Bureau, in collaboration with four other departments, has launched China's pioneering provincial-level comprehensive digital transformation initiative. By 2027, the plan aims to achieve a comprehensive digital upgrade across all cities in Jiangsu Province. This includes establishing a "five-in-one" infrastructure, enhancing the provincial and municipal data resource systems, and boosting the supply of high-value data to exceed 95%. Furthermore, the blueprint envisages the creation of an urban intelligent hub, the deployment of over 200 intelligent agents, and a push to elevate the added value of the core digital economy industry to RMB 1.8 trillion. Additionally, a digital system innovation framework will be instituted to facilitate the inclusion of 13 district cities among the top 100 in nationwide smart city construction rankings.
