Aurui (600666) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Beijing Zhisuanli, will invest US$10 million to establish Boundaryless Zhisuan Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong. The new venture will concentrate on offering comprehensive computing power services, marking Aurui's deeper foray into the computing power sector. This strategic move aims to cater to the surging demand for large model training and capitalize on the burgeoning opportunities in generative artificial intelligence. Notably, in the first half of 2024, Aurui's computing power business accounted for 31.64% of its total revenue, generating a gross profit of 24.5561 million yuan, effectively mitigating the company's losses.

Furthermore, Aurui has partnered with Karamay Cloud Investment to jointly construct a green computing power center and is poised to establish a cloud platform that will provide GPU computing power services. Despite the sapphire business contributing a relatively lower gross profit, the growth of the computing power segment has had a favorable impact on the company's overall performance. It is anticipated that Aurui will narrow its losses by approximately 495 million yuan to 585 million yuan in 2024, though the company's overall financial position remains in the red.
