On March 1, Luchen Technology announced that it would terminate its DeepSeek API services within a week, urging users to utilize their remaining credits promptly. Full refunds will be issued for any unused portions. This move follows Huawei Cloud's recent decision to open-source the DeepSeek-R1 series of models, which garnered significant global interest due to their impressive performance and cost-effective development. Luchen Technology, in partnership with Ascend, had previously launched the DeepSeek-R1 series of inference APIs and cloud image services, leveraging Ascend's advanced computing capabilities.
