France and the United Arab Emirates have signed a framework agreement to collaboratively construct a state-of-the-art 1-gigawatt AI-focused data center, entailing a significant investment ranging from approximately $30 billion to $50 billion. This partnership aims to deepen cooperation across various domains, including corporate alliances, chip procurement, data center infrastructure development, and talent nurturing. As part of this initiative, the two countries will also establish a "Virtual Data Embassy." France has identified 35 potential sites and plans to host an AI summit in Paris next week, aiming to explore and harness the full potential of AI development.
