During the fourth quarter of 2024, AMD notched a remarkable achievement, surpassing Intel for the first time in data center business net revenue. AMD reported a record net revenue of $3.86 billion, marking a robust 69% year-over-year growth and a sequential increase of 9%. Operating income for the quarter surged 74% year-over-year to reach $1.16 billion. In comparison, Intel's Data Center and AI business segment reported revenue of $3.4 billion and operating income of $200 million, positioning AMD firmly ahead in this crucial market segment.
