Alibaba Cloud Cuts Tongyi Qianwen Vision Model Prices by Over 80%, Offering 1700 Image Processes for Just 1 Yuan

On December 31, Alibaba Cloud announced its third major price reduction for large models this year, with Tongyi Qianwen's vision understanding model experiencing a price cut of over 80%. Specifically, Qwen-VL-Plus has seen an 81% price reduction, with the cost per thousand tokens dropping to a mere 0.0015 yuan, establishing the lowest rate across the industry. Similarly, Qwen-VL-Max has enjoyed an 85% price drop, now costing only 0.003 yuan per thousand tokens. At these new rates, processing up to approximately 600 720P images or 1700 480P images costs just 1 yuan.
