According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the value-added of China's core digital economy industries amounted to RMB 12,755.5 billion in 2023, representing 9.9% of the country's GDP. Among these, digital technology application industries topped the list with a value-added of RMB 5,563.6 billion, accounting for 43.6% of the total. Closely following were the digital product manufacturing industries, which contributed RMB 4,313.5 billion, or 33.8% of the total value-added. The digital factor-driven industry and the digital product service industry accounted for 19.4% and 3.2% respectively, with respective value-added of RMB 2,474.7 billion and RMB 403.7 billion.
