The Baidu Intelligent Cloud business group has recently undergone a series of organizational adjustments. Relevant businesses under the ACG (AI Cloud Group) Intelligent Applications Division have been reallocated to the Infrastructure Division, the Intelligent Agent Division, and the newly named Industry Applications and Technology Service Center (formerly the Service Delivery and Quality Engineering Center), based on their respective attributes. The head of the Industry Applications and Technology Service Center remains unchanged and will continue to report to Shen Dou.
In addition to these changes, Baidu Vice President Ruan Yu has been appointed as the rotating head of the Xiaodu Technology organization, also reporting directly to Shen Dou. There have been rumors circulating about the imminent departure of Xiaodu Technology CEO Li Ying, but Baidu has clarified that these are unfounded.
Baidu stated that this organizational adjustment is a crucial step in evolving the company's structure for the AI era and in deepening the collaborative efforts to 'integrate cloud and intelligence.' Moving forward, Baidu ACG's product development lineup will adopt a two-tier structure focusing on 'infrastructure and intelligent agents.' This strategic shift aims to concentrate on the two core battlegrounds of AI cloud and intelligent agents, accelerating the large-scale and efficient implementation of AI capabilities in both enterprise and consumer scenarios through FDE (presumably an internal framework or methodology).
