On October 14, Oracle (ORCL.N) once again urged federal regulators to swiftly approve a natural gas pipeline to secure power supply for its large-scale data center project, Project Jupiter, in New Mexico. Josh Pitcock, Oracle's Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, emphasized in a letter to the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that continued delays in approving the pipeline project operated by a subsidiary of Energy Transfer LP would jeopardize the progress of Project Jupiter, affecting employment, economic activity, and community benefits. Named Green Chile, the pipeline will transport approximately 400 million cubic feet of natural gas daily to power fuel cells from Bloom Energy, supporting Project Jupiter. Currently, the pipeline's operational start has been postponed to February 2027, significantly delayed from the original planned date of August 15.
