From September 16 to 17, 2026, Liu Liehong, Director of the National Data Administration, conducted a research visit to Gansu Province. During his trip, he toured several enterprises and held a symposium to discuss ongoing initiatives. The event drew participation from representatives of Lanzhou City, Qingyang City, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and various enterprises. Gansu Province has made notable strides in its market-oriented allocation reform of data elements, actively implementing the "Compute East, Store West" strategy. The province has established a unified platform for computing resource scheduling across the region, enhanced the development of demonstration scenarios in multiple sectors, and promoted the integrated use of data. These efforts are aimed at fostering innovation and development in artificial intelligence through the effective utilization of data elements.
