On September 15, Zheng Zhanjie, the Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, convened a symposium with representatives from private enterprises to solicit their valuable perspectives on refining the development environment and unlocking new investment avenues. The meeting was attended by leaders from five prominent companies spanning diverse sectors: electrical equipment (Delixi Group), computing infrastructure (Range Technology), cultural tourism services (Millennium City Park), elderly care services (Ruizhi Kangjian), and commercial aerospace (LandSpace).

Zheng Zhanjie attentively absorbed the enterprises' presentations and feedback, engaging in meaningful dialogues and promptly addressing their queries. He underscored the pivotal role of private investment in driving the high-quality growth of the private economy and its significance as a cornerstone for expanding effective investment. Currently, private investment in China stands at a pivotal juncture, marked by structural optimization and a shift in momentum. Despite encountering hurdles and challenges, it also presents immense potential and opportunities.

He urged private entrepreneurs to capitalize on these opportunities, amplifying their investments and strategic deployment in burgeoning industries, new-type infrastructure, and consumption upgrades. This, he emphasized, would facilitate the seamless transition between old and new growth drivers, ultimately serving the broader interests of economic and social development.

The National Development and Reform Commission, he affirmed, is committed to implementing the decisions and strategies outlined by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. It will concentrate its efforts on key industries and sectors where private enterprises exhibit robust investment intentions and significant growth prospects. Practical measures will be taken to enhance the sense of accomplishment among private enterprises and foster active investment by private capital.

Furthermore, the Commission will refine its regular communication mechanisms with private enterprises, promote high-caliber investment projects across various industries and sectors, and unlock application scenarios in critical areas. By facilitating the close integration of tangible investments and intangible constructions, it aims to continuously optimize the investment environment, broaden investment channels, and propel the high-quality development of the private economy.
