Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Saudi Arabian artificial intelligence company Humain plans to raise an initial fund of $2.5 billion for investment in data center projects within Saudi Arabia. The fund will support the construction of a 250-megawatt data center by Humain in collaboration with the Muammar Information Systems Company, with the long-term capacity expected to expand to 1 gigawatt. Additionally, Humain has partnered with DataVolt to launch the first phase of a hundred-megawatt AI data center project in the Oxagon industrial zone of NEOM, which is expected to become operational in 2028.
