Nscale has inked a multi-year strategic cooperation pact with Figure, with the intention of rolling out the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform, which will incorporate up to 100,000 GPUs. The initial deployment of GPUs is slated for Barstow, Texas, in the latter half of 2027. This endeavor will commence with an initial investment of $3.5 billion in computing power, a figure that could potentially surge to over $6 billion subsequently. As part of this collaboration, Nscale is set to acquire a stake in Figure, becoming its preferred computing power supplier, and will also make strategic investments in the company.
