On August 29, during a themed exchange session at the 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo, an official from the National Data Administration announced that, as of the end of July 2026, China's total intelligent computing capacity had soared to 2.45 million PFLOPS (FP16). Specifically, the intelligent computing capacity deployed across the eight national computing hubs and three coordinated zones for computing power and electricity development constituted more than 85% of the national total. Furthermore, 1.45 million PFLOPS of this capacity had been integrated into the national-level monitoring and scheduling platform, marking a significant stride in enhancing the intensive utilization and integrated scheduling capabilities of computing resources. Looking ahead, the National Data Administration is set to refine the computing power landscape, bolster supply capabilities, intensify monitoring and scheduling efforts, elevate utilization efficiency, deepen the synergy between computing power and electricity development, and nurture an industrial ecosystem. These measures aim to comprehensively drive the high-quality development of computing power.
