On August 29, it was reported that China has officially launched its first-ever vehicle-mounted mobile token factory. This innovative factory is outfitted with cutting-edge, domestically manufactured computing power and energy management systems, empowering it to adaptively cater to the diverse computing needs of artificial intelligence applications and pioneer novel paradigms for collaborative computing and electricity usage. It not only streamlines the utilization of new energy sources but also cuts down on the operational expenses associated with computing power.

The factory's design is based on a standardized 40-foot container, seamlessly integrating computing, power supply, cooling, storage, and networking functionalities into a unified, compact unit. The front section of the container can be connected to an electric tractor, facilitating the deployment of up to nine server racks. It boasts integrated fast-connection interfaces for both power and communication, enabling multiple vehicles to swiftly assemble into a mobile computing cluster. The entire process, from initial access to debugging and subsequent operation, can be completed in a mere 6-8 hours.

When electricity prices from new energy sources are at their lowest, these computing vehicles can be strategically relocated to areas in close proximity to substations for connection. This approach not only boosts the consumption of new energy but also contributes to cost savings. According to projections, the overall cost of accessing mobile computing services can be slashed by roughly 25%, thereby offering downstream users more budget-friendly token services.
