On August 29, sources revealed that Baidu Smart Cloud has recently revamped its product development organizational framework. The erstwhile Platform Product Division has now been rebranded as the Agent Division, with the Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) business, the Qianfan brand, and associated product portfolios shifting to the Infrastructure Division. Concurrently, the Data Platform Department has been rechristened as the Data Intelligence Department and integrated into the newly formed Intelligent Application Division (previously known as the Application Product Division).

Post-restructuring, Baidu Smart Cloud is now organized into three primary divisions: the Infrastructure Division, helmed by Hou Zhenyu, encompasses AI Infra and Agent Infra; the Agent Division, under the leadership of Yin Dawei, zeroes in on Agent products such as Baidu Dazi and Miaoda; and the Intelligent Application Division, spearheaded by Ruan Yu, oversees applications like Baidu Yijian and Hogee, in addition to industry-specific solutions. All three division heads directly report to Shen Dou, the Executive Vice President of Baidu Group and President of the Smart Cloud Business Group.
