On August 26 (local time), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA announced an expansion of their partnership, with plans to deploy an additional 2 million NVIDIA GPUs across AWS's global infrastructure between 2027 and 2028 to meet the growing demand for AI infrastructure. This procurement is an additional order on top of the 1 million chips announced in March this year, involving high-end GPUs such as NVIDIA's Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra. These GPUs will provide computational support for applications including agent AI, automation, and physical AI. Additionally, the two companies will deepen their collaboration in multiple areas, including AI factories, CPUs, networking, open models, data processing, and robotics.
