Recently, the 2026 Green Computing (Artificial Intelligence) Conference commenced in Hohhot, centered around the theme of "Jointly Forging the Path of Synergy between Computing Power and Electricity, Exploring the New Horizons of Tokenomics, and Co-creating the Future of Artificial Intelligence." The event highlighted local innovations, particularly in the integration of clean energy and computing capabilities. The Horinger New Area entered into strategic cooperation agreements with 13 enterprises, with the goal of bolstering the construction of the northern hub node for the 'Compute East, Store West' initiative. This move is anticipated to attract over 10 billion yuan in investment and establish a computing cluster capable of reaching 100 exaflops per second. The country's first video large model computing power base was inaugurated, boasting 5,000P of computing resources. It employs liquid cooling technology and an integrated wind-solar-storage power supply system to achieve zero-carbon operations throughout its entire lifecycle. The Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone unveiled the 'Tokenomics Going Global' comprehensive service platform, with the first batch of 12 settled-in enterprises securing orders exceeding 50 million yuan from Southeast Asia and the Middle East. In the exhibition area, numerous companies displayed their achievements, including intelligent computing power scheduling systems and low-carbon data center solutions. Attendees also had the opportunity to experience applications like AI-generated videos. Experts noted that Inner Mongolia is steadily forming an industrial closed loop that encompasses 'green energy + intelligent computing power + data elements.' Currently, 10 large-scale data centers have been established in the region, with the total computing power scale accounting for 8% of the national total and the proportion of green electricity usage surpassing 85%.
