On August 22, the 2026 Green Computing Power (Artificial Intelligence) Conference convened in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, drawing a crowd of over 500 academicians, industry experts, and enterprise representatives from across the industrial spectrum. The event was marked by the centralized signing of 13 pivotal projects, collectively attracting a staggering investment of 136.1 billion yuan.

As a pivotal national hub within China's integrated computing power network, Inner Mongolia emerged as the focal point for these newly inked agreements, with projects strategically distributed between Hohhot and Ulanqab. In Hohhot, eight projects were successfully secured, encompassing Volcano Engine's GW-scale park, Cambricon's cutting-edge chip lab, and Haiwu's state-of-the-art computing power equipment industrial park. Meanwhile, Ulanqab witnessed the signing of five significant projects, including Volcano Engine's GW-scale computing power center, GCL-Poly Energy's integrated computing-power and electricity initiative, and China Telecom's expansive data center.
