On August 19th, Yue Xiuhu, the Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, chaired a pivotal meeting focused on the coordination and scheduling mechanism for major projects under the 'Six Networks' initiative. The meeting zeroed in on deliberating the establishment of a coordination mechanism for the computing power network, new-type power grids, and next-generation communication networks, adhering to the '2+3+N' framework. This framework encompasses 2 power grid enterprises, 3 telecom operators, and N enterprises related to computing power, aiming to bolster comprehensive planning, foster synergistic efforts, and collectively advance the construction of significant projects.
Representatives from State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, and various computing power-related enterprises shared their insights at the meeting. Additionally, key department heads from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the National Energy Administration were also in attendance, contributing their expertise to the discussions.
