China Mobile: Operating Revenue Hits RMB 538 Billion in H1 2026, Down 1.1% Year-on-Year

In the first half of 2026, China Mobile reported an operating revenue of RMB 538 billion, marking a 1.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the company achieved positive growth on a comparable basis. Specifically, revenue from its primary business amounted to RMB 452.7 billion, down 3.1% year-on-year, while revenue from other businesses surged to RMB 85.4 billion, up 11.2% year-on-year. Notably, revenue from computing power services and intelligent services accounted for 22.6% of the primary business revenue, reflecting a 2.2 percentage point increase from the previous year.
The profit attributable to shareholders stood at RMB 78.9 billion, a 6.3% decline year-on-year, though it also showed positive growth on a comparable basis, with earnings per share reaching RMB 3.64. EBITDA amounted to RMB 173.6 billion, a 6.6% decrease year-on-year, representing 38.4% of the primary business revenue. In terms of cash flow, the net operating cash inflow was RMB 114.9 billion, up 37.0% year-on-year, and the free cash flow reached RMB 53.9 billion, a remarkable 111.6% increase year-on-year.
