On June 27th, reports indicated that during the first five months of this year, China's electromechanical product exports soared to RMB 7.58 trillion, representing 63.6% of the nation's total export value. Since March 2025, these exports have consistently achieved new monthly highs for the same period, marking 15 consecutive months of growth. During a visit to a factory in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, a reporter noted that nearly 1,000 looms were actively producing electronic fabrics essential for artificial intelligence servers. These fabrics, a cornerstone of the electronic information industry, have seen surging demand amidst the explosive growth in computing power needs. Consequently, the company's production lines have been operating at full capacity, 24 hours a day.
Since the start of the year, products related to computing power have significantly expanded their global footprint. In Wuhan, optical module production lines have similarly been running non-stop around the clock. With the rapid advancement of global computing power infrastructure, exports of 800G optical modules from this enterprise have skyrocketed by over 100 times compared to the same period last year. Data further reveals that products associated with the artificial intelligence industry chain have accounted for more than half of the incremental growth in electromechanical product exports this year, emerging as a pivotal driver of this expansion.
