On June 10, it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued the "Implementation Guidelines for the Innovative Development of 'Artificial Intelligence + Information and Communication' (2026-2028)" to foster intelligent advancement in the field of information and communication. These guidelines prioritize the seamless integration of 5G-A/6G, next-generation optical networks, 'IPv6+', industrial internet, and artificial intelligence. They advocate for the exploration of novel network architectures propelled by artificial intelligence and address critical technologies, including intelligent mobile communication air interfaces, advanced network self-intelligence, network-endogenous intelligence, space-based computing networks, and agent-based internet.
