The meeting was held to deploy corrective actions. It mandated that relevant Internet platforms and smart terminal companies promptly undertake self-inspections, thoroughly evaluate the design and presentation of information windows, establish online inspection mechanisms, and swiftly eliminate any non-compliant content. Concurrently, these entities were encouraged to enhance their internal review and compliance management frameworks, standardize service practices, refine user experiences, eradicate non-compliant practices, and robustly safeguard users' legitimate rights and interests. The MIIT will persist in conducting routine detection and monitoring, and will implement measures such as interviews, notifications, and delisting for any non-compliant behaviors in strict accordance with the law.
