On the 6th, the world's inaugural prefabricated computational power center base was officially inaugurated in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Serving as the energy hub of the computational power center, the base is container-shaped, with dimensions of approximately 53 meters in length and 41 meters in width, encompassing an area of around 2,200 square meters. In comparison to traditional bases, its construction timeline has been expedited by nearly 70%, its spatial footprint diminished by over 30%, its overall expenses reduced by 20%, and its civil engineering costs curtailed by nearly 80%, with the entire construction process completed in a mere 5 months. The base ensures a stable power supply, facilitates direct connection to green energy sources, achieves 100% green energy consumption, and collaborates with energy storage systems to construct an intelligent framework for coordinated computational and power management. This innovative approach is anticipated to drive down computational power costs. Presently, the base has been integrated with an enterprise's self-constructed data center and is poised for application in national-level data center clusters and various local-level computational power centers in the latter half of this year. China is expediting the development of technical standards for a national integrated computational power network, with 12 pertinent guiding technical documents already published. The "Action Plan for Computational Power Interconnection and Interoperability" unveiled by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on May 30th advocates for the establishment of a comprehensive standard system for computational power interconnection and interoperability by 2026, and the near-universal realization of standardized interconnection of public computational power across the nation by 2028, thereby gradually constructing a computational power internet.
